New Gallery: Country Farmers Markets

A New Post From Stephen Dwyer http://GlobalEyeImages.com/portfolio/

Farmers markets are rapidly gaining popularity throughout Australia as people look for alternatives to the big supermarkets and high volume produced foods. Statistics vary on organic food volumes but national turnover is probably close to $1bn. Markets probably make up a small share of this but they do provide people with ready access to organic food direct from the grower. While supermarkets are convenient and economical, the combination of buying fresh healthy foods and cottage industry products in an open local community market is increasingly a tempting option for many.

Australian Beaches – New Lightbox

A New Post From Stephen Dwyer http://GlobalEyeImages.com/portfolio/

Australains love their beaches, 8 out of 10 of us live within 50km of the coast and we spend a lot of time at beaches. People learn to swim at beaches, get married at beaches and become Australians on beaches. None of this is surprising when you know that we have 7000 identified beaches and another 3000 yet to be named. Now theres an opportunity, find a new beach and name it.

Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne

A New Post From Stephen Dwyer http://GlobalEyeImages.com/portfolio/

The Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne was built after the end of the First World War as a place for people and families to collectively share their grief. Never before had there been such a massive loss of life for Australians at war and people wanted to build permanent commemorations and reminders of the profound loss. I have created a new Lightbox to show off this memorial and people interacting with it.

Coolamine and Blue Waterholes

A New Post From Jeremy Wood http://GlobalEyeImages.com/portfolio/JWood

Due partly to wanting to try out an updated car, last week I went to a special area in the Kosciuszko ‚ÄčNational Park called Blue Waterholes. The water is blue-ish because of the limestone forming the cliffs and caves. I started going there for the fishing 35 years ago. It’s a long day trip but I’d been meaning to do it for some time to check it out for a future over night camp. There is also a well preserved 19th century homestead on the way in, Coolamine. I needed to go before it is closed for the winter and it was already cold, especially as you have to walk through the river to cross it.

If You Can Make Anything You Do Interesting Or Artistic, In Essence, You Will Become More Interested And More Involved, Rodriguez Said.

learn photography

I’m Not Sure, Something With The Mirror.

If you want to learn more about digital photography, there are plenty of resources to help you out. PMS cameras generally don’t have options on them for controlling shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc. How’d you get it to look that way and have the colons look they way they did? If the camera takes BBSD cards, you may want more, in case you ever upgrade to a DLR that uses SD. That camera is definitely a fun camera too.

Despite that, Rodriguez is constantly trying to learn from every experience, on or off the field, negative or positive, and apply it toward something else. When I see his photography, I dont just see a picture I see a story and it makes me think and I think thats how art is supposed to be, said his long-time girlfriend, Danielle Glatt. His talent really shines on and off the field. As he enters his senior year, Rodriguez is looked at as one of the leaders on the team. Whether on the diamond or in the classroom, Rodriguez constantly stays alert and attentive while trying to learn and grow. He said he believes people need to be creative with everything they do in life. If you can make anything you do interesting or artistic, in essence, you will become more interested and more involved, Rodriguez said. I feel that I can take what Ive learned in the classroom and apply it on the field. When Rodriguez started college, his main focuses were baseball and school. I didnt start taking photography classes until this past year, he said. The classes opened my eyes and made it much easier for me to adjust from one setting to another. Rodriguez said his classes made him look at things through a different perspective.
